About Typing Galaxy
Typing Galaxy exists because the best typing sites each do one thing well and none of them do everything: Monkeytype-grade metrics, exam-exact simulators for every country, a real curriculum, games that count, and analytics that tell you what to fix.
What makes it different
- Exam-exact practice. More than 100 exam pages across nine countries replicate the real software: same duration, passage length, keyboard layout, backspace rule and full/half mistake scoring, with 120 passages each.
- Hindi and regional layouts. Inscript, Remington GAIL and Kruti Dev emulation on a normal keyboard, plus Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil and more.
- Analytics that lead somewhere. Per-key latency, finger balance, error types and slowest letter pairs after every test, rolled up on your dashboard and turned into drills.
- Fresh text. Passages are generated by AI, validated for length, duplicates and language, and refreshed weekly so tests never repeat.
Editorial policy
Exam figures are compiled from official notifications and instruction PDFs where available, cross-checked against established coaching sources, and marked with a last-verified date. Anything we could not confirm against an official document is flagged on the page. We are not affiliated with any examination body.

Technology
The site is built with Next.js, runs on Vercel with a Neon Postgres database, and uses Google for sign-in. The typing engine measures every keystroke locally in your browser; only summary metrics are saved for signed-in users.
