Terms of Service

The service

Typing Galaxy provides free typing tests, exam practice, lessons, games, challenges, a community and progress tracking. We may change or discontinue features at any time.

Accounts

You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. One account per person.

Fair play

Leaderboards, challenges and certificates depend on honest results. You must not use automation, macros, text injection, modified clients or any method that produces results you did not type. We may remove results, certificates or accounts that we believe are not genuine, without notice.

Acceptable use

• No harassment, hate, spam, advertising or illegal content in the community, feedback or profiles.
• No scraping, load testing or attempts to access other users’ data.
• No reverse engineering of anti-cheat or rate-limit measures.

Your content

You own what you post. You grant us a licence to display it on the site. We may remove content that breaks these terms. Custom text you paste into the custom test is processed in your browser and not stored.

Our content

Practice passages, lessons and blog articles are owned by Typing Galaxy or licensed to us. You may use them for personal practice. Exam practice tests are modeled on public formats and are not official papers; exam names belong to their respective bodies.

Certificates

Certificates record a verified result on this site. They are not issued by any government, examination board or employer, and we make no promise that any third party will accept them.

No warranty and liability

The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, data loss, or any outcome of an exam or job application. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us, which for a free service is zero.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the owners’ place of business unless local consumer law requires otherwise.
