Frequently asked questions
- How do challenges work?
- Every day at 00:00 UTC a new 2-minute passage opens, and every Monday a 3-minute weekly passage. Everyone types the same text. Your best run counts, and the leaderboard is published when the window closes.
- Do I need an account?
- Yes. Challenge entries and subscriptions require a Google sign-in so results can be ranked fairly. Guests can still take every regular test.
- What does subscribing do?
- Subscribers get an in-app notification (and optional email) when a challenge opens and when results are published.
- Can I retry?
- As many times as you like while the challenge is open. Only your best run (by WPM, then accuracy) is kept.
