Frequently asked questions

How long does the course take?
Most adults reach 40 WPM in 8 to 12 weeks with 15 minutes a day. Each lesson is 5 to 10 minutes: an intro, three or four short drills and a one-minute test.
Do I need to finish chapters in order?
The first four chapters build on each other and should be done in order. After that, pick what you need: punctuation for exams, the numeric keypad for data entry, programming or Hindi Inscript.
How are stars awarded?
The lesson test gives 1 to 5 stars from accuracy and speed against the lesson target. Three stars count as complete; five means you beat the target by 20% at 98% accuracy.
Is progress saved?
